Tom Lynn worked for the Minnesota Wild for nine years, as the Assistant General Manager, then the Acting General Manager. This book recounts his personal observations and stories about building the most successful NHL expansion franchise (on ice and off) in the history of the NHL. Join us for a firsthand story about the building of a National Hockey League franchise through the lens of someone who was there.
Tom Lynn is a certified player agent of the National Hockey League Players Association and a principal of Veritas Hockey. Prior to that, he served as the Acting General Manager, Assistant General Manager/Hockey Operations, and Director of Hockey Administration and Legal Affairs for the Minnesota Wild between April, 2000 and June of 2009. Mr. Lynn has also taught the Law of Professional Sports at the University of Saint Thomas School of Law. Before joining the Wild, Mr. Lynn was an attorney with the Manhattan law firms of Proskauer Rose LLP and Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam and Roberts. Tom and his wife Leslie are graduates of Cornell Law School and the proud parents of six Minnesota hockey players.
